Synopsis
Ian loathes his job, Rita is trapped in a loveless marriage, Meredith faces a financial crisis at the hostel she runs. When Samuel, an asylum seeker on forged papers, jokes about honest fraud, they see the solution to their problems and blackmail him into putting his scheme in effect. When it succeeds beyond everyone’s dreams they discover greed has its price – even murder.
A serious comedy about a culture of greed that affects even those who think themselves free of it.
